Why all these old photographs? I am not sure myself. As soon as I determine exactly why I am doing this, I will write out an explanation and post it here.
Many of the people in these photos were dead long before I was born of course. I am old enough, however, to have known others when I was a boy. For one thing I am fascinated with the idea that I can put up their photos here and people such as yourself from all over the world can see their faces. This would be a thing impossible to explain to them if they were here. In this regard the names make no difference.

Also, I like to play with the scanner here, something that I do not have in Mexico.

I think they're better with no explanation, just as is. They tell their own story in a way.
I agree, Angeline, but I came to that conclusion only after posting a few.
