The swinging doors mean that it is a cantina.
El Manatial on Calle de la Barranca is an old cantina that has been beautifully redone inside and is now a restaurant. In former times women never went into cantinas. There was no reason, therefore, for separate men's restrooms. Rather, urinals were installed on the walls in the main bar area, a convenient arrangement for the patrons. The old urinal is still on the wall inside El Manantial right behind the bar in the main dining area.

"Out in the West Texas town of El Paso
I fell in love with a Mexican girl.
Night-time would find me in Rosa's cantina; Music would play and Felina would whirl.
Blacker than night were the eyes of Felina, Wicked and evil while casting a spell."
Every time I hear that song I will now picture a urinal on the wall of Rosa's cantina. What were Felina, and presumably Rosa, doing in such a place?
Either things were different in El Paso or Felina and Rosa were less than reputable ladies.
I believe Felina was described as Wicked in the song at one point.
I believe you are correct, street.
Its a very good post. I was very pleased to find this site.
